About the Journal

Proceedings of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex is the official scientific journal of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex and is published on a quarterly basis. Established in 1987, just one year after the founding of the Complex, the journal was developed as a scholarly platform for the publication and dissemination of high-quality clinical and biomedical research originating from the institution and beyond.

Since its inception, Proceedings has maintained a strong commitment to academic excellence. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and medical audits that reflect the evolving landscape of healthcare in Pakistan. Over the years, it has served as an important institutional journal contributing to the advancement of evidence-based medicine and postgraduate medical education.
